Howick Art Group showcases local creativity 61years and going strong

On Saturday I attended the opening of Spring Art Show, organised by the Howick Art Group along with Chair Bruce Kendall, Members Adele White, and John Spiller. In it’s 61st year, this art show provides an opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent. And yet again they showed how incredibly creative our community is.

The guest judge noted how important it is to have these kinds of organisations and exhibitions. It was wonderful to see the artworks and have the opportunity to discuss them with their creators. And they’re all for sale if you want to take something home, supporting local artists!

The exhibition runs until Sunday 13 September 10am-4pm daily at the Howick Bowling Club.
