I volunteer with BCWP on a regular basis, working alongside the NZ Police to keep our community safe.

John Sato is an incredible man and I had the pleasure of meeting him. He was warm, kind and humble, so much we can learn.

I helped as part of a community effort to clean up Point View Drive, organised by Howick Local Board member Mike Turinsky. Awesome to have so many people helping and we removed a lot of rubbish. Disappointed that it was necessary.

Along with other volunteers, I represented Botany Crime Watch Patrol at the Botany Community Day.

Locals and students of Macleans came together to help plant in the nearby Macleans Park.

I joined the Howick Youth Council to clean up Bucklands Beach.

I held a number of public meetings across the area so people could come and chat.

A great night was had and we raised lots of money to help make the Howick Santa Parade happen for the children.
