Late Summer Harvest at Howick Historical Village

On Sunday I went to the Howick Historical Village LIVE Day with my whānau. It was a great opportunity to show them the village come alive thanks to the awesome and knowledgeable volunteers.

Talks provided opportunities to learn more about local history and the life that people once lived. We tried Victorian-era brown bread ice-cream, made our own books, and heard from the Village beekeeper. And the City of Sails Pipe Band were fantastic!

Their next Live Day is coming up in April, with special events for Easter so don't miss it!
