Transparency on attendance (Jan-Mar 2026)

As part of providing transparency, Auckland Council publishes the attendance for elected members at business meetings and workshops.

Here is the Howick Local Board result for January-March 2026.

Here is the Governing Body result for January-March 2026.

I've asked why Governing Body attendance is reported differently to local board members, but never had a response.

Absences may be due to leave, illness, bereavement or attending other council business. With councillors, they report 'on council business' which they don't for local boards (probably less common).
