Game Over coming to Pakūranga

Last Friday members of the Howick Local Board and other special guests were lucky to get a sneak peek at the upcoming Game Over Pakuranga.

The former Warehouse has been transformed into an awesome entertainment space for all ages – ninja playground for kids, western themed mini-golf, tenpin bowling, games arcade and an incredible multi-level, electric go-kart course!

While I wasn’t exactly dressed for the occasion, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to sit in on of the go-karts. While we weren’t able to test the track out, we did get to walk around the two levels. I was very impressed with the passion of the owner/operators Dan and Jen who gave us a tour, showing off their amazing space and answering our many questions. They have a very clear vision, with a strong focus on delivering a high-quality experience, building on their own background and other sites (Albany and Christchurch).

They’re putting the finishing touches on the site and hiring staff, with the official opening as soon as they’re ready.
