Howick Art Group and Howick Historical Village deliver unique collaboration

It was wonderful to join fellow Howick Local Board member Adele White at the opening of the Howick Art Group exhibition at Howick Historical Village.

Each piece was created "en plain air" (French for in open air) in the historical village, capturing the history on display. The variety of styles provides a fresh take on familiar buildings and artifacts, reminding us of the the beauty of different perspectives.

My photos don't do them justice - strongly encourage people to go look for themselves. It's also a great opportunity to support local artists by purchasing their beautiful artwork (but you'll need to be quick as they're selling fast).
